Which movie do I want to watch this summer

I want to go see the movie about the world's power going out. Then the people in the world have to go back to days without technology and the government was broken down. Clans become our new form of government and it goes back to the times when we fought on horse back. It looks really interesting and I really want to go see it.

My grade is probably going to drop to a B because I showed Mr Larsen our video and he didn't like it. Today is the only day we can film and we all aren't free. So we might have to just turn in the video we have right now. My grade is a 90% right now and it will most likely drop to a B. This makes me mad because I've worked really hard to keep my grade at an A all semester and for the last project, it will most likely drop.

Buying one thing

If I could buy one thing for someone I would buy the winning lotery ticket of a $500 billion win. Then I would make them share the money with me so I could buy other people stuff as well. I have to share the love with more than one person.

Finals week

To prepare for my finals I am trying to get my grades up as high as possible so that if I don't get a good grade on my finals test I will still hopefully get a A in the class.

Yesterday I had to work from 4:45 to 8:45 but then it turned into a 4:45 to 9:00. There was some customers that were pretty rude which made me kind of mad, but I'm used to it since that's my job. After work I had to go home and write 5 current events about the environment for my environmental science class. I also had to do a work cited page for my research paper for my language arts class. I didn't have time to enough time to finish it because it was already 12:00 and I was tired from a whole day wof activities. I ended up finishing it during lunch and I managed to get it done.

TED

Who: Karen Bass

What was it about: Karen Bass is a filmer who goes around the world and films and catches unseen shots with her camera that have never been seen before. She captured a new species that has the longest tounge-to-body length out of any species. The bat is 2 inches long with a 3 inch tounge. She also climbed to very high altitudes and captured the stars and was able to see space really good because of the low air quality that high.

What did I learn: I learned that At higher altitudes, you can see space so much clearer.

Who: Brian Skerry

What: Brian talks about how we need to care and be aware more of the animals we take out of the ocean. We need to focus on preserving the ocean's creatures because if we did their failing populations can and will come back. The ocean is tolerant to of us to a certain point.

Opinion: I think Brian Skerry is a very talented man who has the ability to take a great picture and explain the significance of that animal in the photo. He mentioned that people even today see sharks and think "the only good shark is a dead shark" but he is able to take a picture that makes the shark look more friendly and he is able to persuade the audience that they are not as brutal as people see them as.

My grades

I expect to get all A's this semester. I have 3 high B's and 3 A's. I need to start working on raising my grades before finals.

Plans for the Summer

 This summer, I plan to go visit my dad in Oregon for a few weeks. Then I hope to transfer to a different Safeway in Scottsdale because I'm moving this summer. When I get back, I'm going to try to work as much as I possibly can to make a lot of money. I also want to start skating a lot more this summer because there's a skatepark really close to my new house in Scottsdale.

Finals

Career Goals obstacles

The biggest obstacle I face in reaching my goals in the future are my lack of effort I put into my school work. I need to get better at planning and focusing on school work.

Yesterday I worked till 10 at night then went to Walmart. At Walmart I bought some 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner. As I was walking out I noticed the Redbox and decided to get a movie. After spending much time considering my options I finally decided on one to get and then went home. When I got home I put the movie in and started watching it. About half way through the movie I realized I had already watched the movie. Then I went to bed.

If money wasn't an object

If money wasn't a object I would live on a paradise island in the biggest house ever. I would have my own fresh-water stream and livestock near my house. There would be huge place for when I have parties.

Ancestors

I know my mom's side of the family is from Japan. I'm not quite sure about my dad's side because my dad isn't 100% something like my mom. That would be pretty interesting to know though. I may research it at a later date.

This weekend

This weekend I have to work from 7:00am to 3:30pm on Saturday and then mostl likely I have to work on Easter so I'll have to work while my family has a cool family gathering and eats Easter Dinner without me.

I only have 16 hours this week at work. It sucks because I haven't been getting any hours for the past month and now we're hiring 5 more clerks that will be taking hours from me. Hopefully I can remain getting at least 20 hours a week after they start working.

April Fools

The best April fools joke I've seen was that this guy handed this person a $100 bill and then took it back and walked away from the person.

Last thing I learned

The last thing I learned was about what inspired the author of the book "The Hunger Games" to write that book. It was based on the real-life situation that might still happen in the future.

A year of changes

I've changed a lot since last year. I now have a license, a car that I bought with my own money. I also have a job now which is how I got all the money for my car. I'm more responsible now and have managed to keep all A's exept for one B. This semester I aim for straight A's though. I also registered for all AP classes next year so I can get college credits.

Spring Break

I worked a lot during spring break. I also cleaned my house, well my room and bathroom. I also hung out with a lot of friends. I hung out with Anthony, Zac, John, my old friend Teresa (who moved away but came to hang out) Jackie, Britany, and a few others. It was pretty fun this spring break and I also saw The Hunger Games at midnight. It was alright, but the book was way better.

Women seem to be the biggest yet most exciting reptiles but only on Tuesdays. When they jump to
the right, they get super inflated and start to float. Due to this inflation, the men help the women by creating jobs making schools and roads.Women's diet consist of gas and fireworks so the babies in their tummys don't get to play that much poker. Luckily the government tries to help the meerkats in their stuggle to find the cure to world hunger. The recent alien invasion destoyed the insanity among the Nazi zombie monkey tribes in Alaska. After which the Chinese mormons attempted to blow up the capital of Panem with the assistance of Katniss and Jonah. Sometimes poverty can effect the size of your moral rights with devil music. Adele on the other hand is the leader of the KKK, just kidding because Adele is awesome. We will soon be forced to listen to her music when she becomes president because 7 year olds in Costa Rica ate sea food.

Vacation

I used to go on a lot of vacations when I was younger. I've been all around the world from Mexico, to Hawaii, to Alaska, all the way to Japan.

Most frightening thing

When I was very little, I had to go onto space mountain or something at Disney Land and since I was little I almost fell out of the ride. The reason I didn't was because my dad held me in my seat. Since then I've never enjoyed rides at a fair.

The perfect classroom

I think the perfect classroom would consist of all my friends being in there and us having no homework. The coolest teachers should be in there also.

My last book I read for fun

I read the book "Catching Fire" which is the 2/3 book in the Hunger Games' series. It was really interesting and pretty much followed the last book and continued on with the story; with a twist.

Project main Concept

I'm going to be standing there with Kodi James and have a girl walk by and a thought bubble will appear above my head and I'll be thinking "Dang, that girl's cute". And Kodi will have a blank look on his face and his thought bubble will be "I wonder what bacon tastes like with coke". Then we'll both look at eachother and then kinda just walk off.

I usually eat sonic because my friend John Randel works there. Their food is also pretty good, but mostly their drinks are awesome.

Some dumb idiotic kid who sits at my desk before me always makes me mad, everyday... They always turn my computer off and unplug stuff from my computer. It makes me so mad, everyday. I wish they would stop because this has been continuous for the past month. Everyday.

Summary

Fréchette has an experiment to see if his master's thesis is correct. He used 42 athletes in this experiment. He recorded how many of them were using suppliments and what their eating habits were for three days. He believes that the use of proteins are misunderstood and don't actually have the effect on the person taking them that they believe they are recieving. Fréchette thinks that supplements aren't as controlled and safe as regular prescriptions given by doctors. He figured out that 12 out of 20 suppliments contain prohibited substances. As a result the consumers had levels of sodium, magnesium, niacin, folate, vitamin A and iron that exceeded the required amounts. This could result in sicknesses and nausea.

Exercise

I exercise at least five times a week. I jog with my dad at night time sometimes, also I do physical activities throughout the week. If excerising your brain counts I also read a lot.

What I did today

I was up until 1:30am reading then woke up at 9:10am this morning and called up my buddy Zac Kwaad. We agreed to hang out so I got ready and met up with him at O' Riley's; an auto parts store. There he bought some floor mats and after that we went back to his house to hang out and he taught me part of a song on a guitar then we went to school.

My weekend

This weekend I worked both Saturday and Sunday but also got to hang out with my buddy Zac Kwaad. We went to Sonic and messed with John Randel at the drive-through. I also gave Josh Murphy a 80% tip for our $6.00 order.

If you could buy an electronic device, what would it be and why?

If I was stuck with only one electronic device for the rest of my life I would choose to buy an Iphone. The reason behind this choice of mine is because being able to call someone is very important for staying in contact with friends and family; or in an emergency situation. Also the Iphone has the ability to have apps on it like games, calculator, calender, etc. Another really important reason for my decision is that you can have and listen to music on it. Music is really important to me and has a great impact on my mood.

News Desk Background

Most people thought it was hard to start with then got easier; my experience was different. I started out thinking I knew how to do this so I got the 3d effect without Mr. Larsen showing me, but then it just got harder. My room is progressing but it's difficult for me to make it look good.

My computer

Reciently, my computer has been turning off randomly which is making me really angry. Sometimes I'm in the middle of a project and am about to save then it turns off, and I have to restart.

Favorite Band?

I don't have a particularlly favorite "band" but I like it when people take songs and remix them with Skrillex. I don't really like skrillex alone, but when it's used to remix a song, I like it. I also like the singer Ellie Goulding right now.

MY BEST FRIEND

My best friend would have to be my friend Nate. We've been friends since 3rd grade when I lived in Oregon. In 4rd Grade, I moved to Arizona, but we always hung out when I came to Oregon to visit my dad. Eventually, He moved away from Oregon to Idaho; but we still manage to hang out when I go to Oregon to visit my dad. Whenever I go there, he comes from Idaho and stays with me and my dad.

Will I let my kids play sports?

Yes, I would defininetly let my kids play sports, but I wouldn't force it upon them. Sports are a great way to stay healthy. When I was a little kid, I loved to play soccer, so maybe my kids will as well.

Today I have work, which sucks because I have a lot of homework I need to do. I get off at 8:00 so I'll have to stay up pretty late tonight to finish it; it's part of life though.

The craziest thing I've ever done.

When I was really little, my friend and I used to play chicken and lay in the middle of the road right next to a curve around a mountain. So basically if a car were to come by we would have been killed because the driver would have no time to try and dodge us.

Favorite movie

My favorite movies are saving private, and black hawk down. I like both of these movies because they both have a strong story that gets to the viewer and makes them connect with the movie.

2. Shape-shifting Dinosaurs.

3. Jack talked about how there are so many different types of dinosaur names out there, when really like half of them are the same dinosaur; just different ages. He cut into dinosaur bones from his museum and looked at them. The smaller dinosaurs had spongie bones when the other larger one had more mature bones. He was able to prove that the different types of dinosaurs are actually the same type.

4. He talked in a humorous way, but was really interesting to listen to. He gave facts so he knew what he was talking about. What he talked about is something I never knew about; so it's always cool to learn something new. It did change the way I looked at dinosaurs, because I remember them from when I was a little kid.

Presidential Candidates of the Republican party

Mitt Romney, one of the presidential candidates of the republican party has the highest amount of pledged and unpledged delegates out of the four running candidates. He has a total amount of 106 delegates in total which is more than threee times the amount of each of the other three. Newt Gingrich is in second place, but still no where close to Mitt Romney.

Birthday

My favorite birthday memory is when I was really little and still lived in Orgeon. I had all of my friends over at my house and we had cake. When we ate the cake, me and all my friends sat at the kids table; and all the parents sat at our regular table. It was really fun having all my friends because that house was fun.

Superbowl

I didn't have a chance to watch the game, because I was working. It doesn't really matter because I didn't really care about this one.

My day off

On my day off, I was woken up by Anthony because he wanted to tell me he ran into a pole and blacked out. Then I spent the day relaxing and getting stuff done around my house. I also got my car written on with wipe-off paint and seran wrapped.

Most important belief.

I think the most important thing I believe is that if you're independent and work hard, you can be successful.

JOBS

If I had a choice between a comfortable job or a challenging job, and they both paid the same, I would choose the challenging job. I would make this choice because it would help me grow as a person and become more than this job and get a better job that would pay better and I would like more.

What kind of car do I want in the future.

When I get a stable job, I would like to have a nice honda. I would say a honda civic but I want a newer car in the future and I only like the older honda civics.

Last day to live

If this was my last day to live, I would probably fly my friend nate to Arizona and go to the dollar store with him and spend all my money on stuff there on random stuff. We always do that in the summer; except we don't spend all our money, we just go there a lot and buy a few things.

My Ideal Career

If money didn't matter, I would want to be a elementary school teacher. I think it would be less stressful as a highschool teacher with your students disrespecting you. My dad is a teacher for highschool kids so maybe that's why I want to be a teacher.

Elementary school

One memory I have from elementary school is I forgot to get a permission slip signed by my parent and I had to stay behind from a field trip. When everyone left, I had to go into a lower-grade class to do some work my teacher assigned. It was extremely boring but I was paying attention to what the teacher was saying; It was a math class. I actually learned something from her that I didn't know.

Deadbeat parents.

In my opinion no parent should be deadbeat parents because when you have a child, that child is part of you; your own responsiblity. Unfortunately though, that's not the case; there are too many poor children that do infact have bad parents. Some don't even realize they are being a bad parent; maybe due to their own parents acting the same way when they were a kid. Others just don't care that they're a terrible parent and can still live with themselves perfectly fine, even though they know they're abusing their very own child.

I believe a good parent is one that cares for and supplies for their child; in a balanced way. I'm not saying a parent should spoil their kid with whatever they want. Instead supply the nessesities and be supportive and encourage their child to succeed. The sooner you teach your kid to be independent, the better and easier time they'll have in life when they're out on their own. Make them earn the stuff they want and desire, which will in the long run make them much happier to have it, and they'll cherish it much more.

TED Talk 6

1. Will Wright / He is game designer that helps kids realize the importance of looking at what effects the future.

2. He basically wants to let people know about his "toys" that help children discover things on their own; rather than someone telling them how to do it. His toys are computer games that let the player interact and discover everything in the game on their own. He feels by showing people long term effects in a short period of time, will help create a better understanding of what we need to do to help preserve the planet.

3. Yes, it showed the effects of adding too much of something to the planet and it's outcome. I learned that there are people out there that have thought of some extremely useful tools, or "toys" that can potentionally help conserve our solar system; let alone our planet.

Yesterday

Yesterday I drove home and did a ton of reading. I'm reading the second book in the Hunger Games series; and it's really interesting. There's three books so i'm looking forward to finishing the series.

Post Retirement.

My grandparents have been retired for a long time now, but they still work out everyday. They're in extremely great shape still regaurdless of their age. They also got swaagg

This coming up election is the most important election ever. It's going to effect whether the future of the United States will be good, or terrible.

Furthest Place I've been from home?

I've been all the way to Japan more than once. I went there for a couple of weeks. It's been a while since I've gone there last but hopefully I'll go there again by myself maybe. I have grandparents there that I can stay with, and I know a little bit of Japanese so I can some-what communicate with them.

Closest relatives

My closest relatives would  have to be my grandparents; on both sides of my family. On my mom's side of the family, my grandparents are Japanese and on the other side; my dad's side is italian. So they both make completely different types of food, but they're both really good.

2012 Semester Goals

I plan to challenge myself more by not doing just enough, but exceeding my own expectations. I also plan to get rid of my procrastination problem and develop better study habits.

Some of the goals I have for this new year is to develop better study skills because that is one of the major things I need for college.

Winter Break

During winter break I caught up on a lot of sleep because I was only sleeping about 5 hours a night before break. I slept about 10-11 hours a day, everyday. So my sleep patern was all messed up and I couldn't fall asleep last night. Luckily my mom woke me up this morning after only getting about 5 hours of sleep. But here I am sleep making it through the day.
